*autobiography

I was once given a business award that simply said three words.... leadership, tenacity, humor.  Friends and family tell me I'm passionate, generous and kindhearted.

So what does that have to do with my photography?

For me, photography and writing is my way of expressing myself and evoking emotions from others.  I am not afraid to take the lead in creating a memorable, positive experience for others.  I will stick to whatever I commit to and whenever I start to stress out or see an awkward situation, I try to find the humor in life to set things in perspective.  I am passionate about my work and any creative process.  I enjoy helping other photographers with their photographic endeavors and teaching new photographers to inspire them to push forward with their interests.  For clients, I also enjoy helping them explore their own creativity as we work together to make a memorable experience.

I am a creator, first and foremost, and I seek interaction with others to experience life to it's fullest.  I capture moments in life through the eye of my camera. My photography has to mean something to me and  “Evoke Emotions”  in others to cause a person to grow and change, even if it's just a little bit.

I'm sure you've heard “It's not about the destination, it's about the journey.”  This is my life motto.

And someone said this: Even if you end up with a different ending, having the right attitude makes the journey fun and have meaning. You grow as a person because of the journey. And even if it's only a short distance, a little piece of you changes.

The end result (the destination, the photo)...  is often different (and better) than you ever imagined!
