My Dad passed away on May 5, 2023. My Mom's urn was added to his casket so they could be buried together. She passed away October 19, 2021. The Real Sarahs sang their song, "The Lilac and The Apple Tree" for me because it was a song that always reminded me of when Dad would take the family to ghost towns in the Sierras - just one of the many adventures he took us on. I find it interesting that Dad's apple tree is blooming and producing lots of apples this year, for the first time! Perhaps it's a message that life goes on.
